So as to shape the spatial amplification characteristic of an acoustical to electrical converter arrangement at least two sub-arrangements (I, II) of converters are provided, generating different spatial amplification characteristics. Frequency domain converted signals (S1) which are proportional to the output signals of the sub-arrangement are compared in a unit (39) on respective spectral frequencies (fs) and there is generated at the output of the comparing unit (39) a binary spectral comparison result signal (A39). Signals (S2) which are as well proportional to the output signals of the sub-arrangements (I, II) are fed to a switching unit (41). For each spectral frequency (fs) the control signal from unit 39, as a binary spectral signal, controls the spectral amplitude of which of the two input signals (S2) is passed to the output (A41) of the switching unit and of the arrangement.
Afin de mettre en forme la caractéristique d'amplification spatiale d'un convertisseur acoustique-électrique, on prévoit au moins deux sous-agencements de convertisseurs (I; II) générant des caractéristiques d'amplification spatiale différentes. Les signaux (S¿1?) convertis en domaine de fréquence des sous-agencements, qui sont proportionnels aux signaux de sortie de ces sous-agencements, sont comparés dans une unité (39) à des fréquences spectrales correspondantes (f¿s?). Un signal résultant de la comparaison spectrale binaire (A¿39?) est généré à la sortie de l'unité de comparaison (39). Des signaux (S¿2?) qui sont également proportionnels aux signaux de sortie des sous-agencements (I, II) sont acheminés vers une unité de commutation (41). Pour chaque fréquence spectrale (f¿s?) le signal de commande en provenance de l'unité (39), en tant que signal spectral binaire, commande l'intensité spectrale des deux signaux d'entrée ($(S)¿2?) qui est reléguée à la sortie (A¿41?) de l'unité de commutation et du convertisseur faisant l'objet de cette invention.
