A method for preparation of an anode for a solid oxide fuel cellin which a plurality of zircon fibers are mixed with a yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) powder, forming a fiber/powder mixture. The fiber/powder mixture is formed into a porous YSZ layer and calcined. The calcined porous YSZ layer is then impregnated with a metal-containing salt solution. Preferred metals are Cu and Ni. An anode and a method for manufacturing a fuel cell containing such anode is also disclosed. Such anode is particularly performant when the fuel cell is fed with dry hydrocarbons, in absence or low content of steam.

L'invention concerne un procédé relatif à l'élaboration d'une anode de pile à combustible à oxyde solide dans laquelle plusieurs fibres de zircon sont mélangées avec une poudre de zircone stabilisée à l'yttria (YSZ), donnant un mélange fibre/poudre, lequel est formé en une couche de YSZ poreuse, puis calciné. La couche calcinée est ensuite imprégnée de solution saline à base de métal. Les métaux utilisés de préférence sont Cu et Ni. L'invention concerne également une anode et un procédé de fabrication d'une pile à combustible comportant cette anode. L'anode est particulièrement performante lorsque la pile à combustible est alimentée avec des hydrocarbures à l'état sec, en l'absence ou avec une faible quantité de vapeur.
