The invention relates to a method for sorting a postal item, wherein the postal item is transferred from a sorting machine into a sorting box according to a sorting code which is associated with the postal item. The inventive method is characterised in that one sorting box is associated with several sorting code areas, wherein at least one additional sorting code area is associated with at least one first sorting code area, which is a partial area of the first sorting code area, which is subsequently tested for the sorting code areas which are allocated to each other, whether the sorting code belongs to the sorting code area and then the postal item is transferred into the sorting box, which is associated with the last sorting area, whereby the sorting code relates to the sorting code area. The invention also relates to data structure for a sorting plan, which is suitable for carrying out said method and which allocates items to sorting codes and sorting boxes of a sorting machine.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour trier un envoi postal. Selon ce procédé, l'envoi postal est détourné dans un compartiment de tri d'une machine de tri en fonction d'un code de tri associé à l'envoi postal. Le procédé selon cette invention est caractérisé en ce qu'un compartiment de tri est respectivement associé à plusieurs zones de code de tri. Au moins une première zone de code de tri est associée à au moins une autre zone de code de tri qui est une zone partielle de la première zone de code de tri. On vérifie ensuite successivement si le code de tri appartient à la zone de code de tri pour les zones de code de tri associées les unes aux autres. L'envoi postal est alors détourné dans le compartiment de tri qui est associé à la dernière zone de code de tri lorsque le code de tri appartient à la zone de code de tri. Cette invention concerne également une structure de données pour un plan de tri contenant une association entre des codes de tri et des compartiments de tri d'une machine de tri, qui est conçue pour mettre en oeuvre ledit procédé.
