Disclosed is a method for correcting the temperature sensitivity of the amount of light L emitted by a light emitting diode (LED) and measured in a light detector, said LED being operated in a pulsed mode with an essentially constant pulse duration t<SB>P</SB>. According to the inventive method, a predetermined parameter X that has a predetermined ratio to the temperature T of the LED is used while a corrective factor K is determined from said parameter X, preferably using a calibration table, most preferably a closed, predetermined function, with the aid of which the measured emitted amount of light L is corrected by the temperature-dependent variations of the emitted amount of light. The parameter X is determined from at least two output signals of the LED which are correlated in a predetermined manner.

L'invention concerne un procédé de correction de la dépendance à la température de la quantité de lumière L émise par une diode électroluminescente (DEL) employée en mode d'impulsions avec une durée d'impulsions t¿p? essentiellement constante, mesurée dans un détecteur de lumière, au moyen d'un paramètre X prédéfini ayant une relation prédéfinie avec la température T de la DEL. Selon l'invention, un facteur de correction K est déterminé à partir du paramètre X, de préférence au moyen d'un tableau de calibrage, notamment au moyen d'une fonction fermée prédéfinie, ledit facteur de correction servant à corriger les variations de la quantité de lumière L dues à la température. Le paramètre X est déterminé à partir d'au moins deux signaux de sortie de la DEL mis en relation de façon prédéfinie.
