The present invention has for its objects a method for sterilizing and/or disinfecting hazardous waste and the device associated therewith. Said method includes treating the waste in a sealed chamber by a high frequency electromagnetic field, the means for application of said electromagnetic field constituting or part of saidchamber.Said method and device are particularly suitable for the treatment of hospital waste.
La présente invention a pour objets un procédé de stérilisation et/ou désinfection de déchets à risque et son dispositif associé. Ledit procédé comprend le traitement par un champ électromagnétique haute fréquence desdits déchets dans une enceinte étanche; les moyens d'application dudit champ électromagnétique constituant tout ou partie de ladite enceinte. Lesdits procédé et dispositif sont particulièrement adaptés au traitement de déchets hospitaliers.
