- 24 - ABSTRACT Disclosed is a method of suppressing dust evolution from a dust generating material comprising in a first embodiment, contacting the dust generating material with an aqueous solution of polysaccharide suitable to form a dust barrier layer on the surface of the material. Alternatively the method comprises contacting the dust generating material with a polysaccharide followed by application of an aqueous solution.
