The invention relates to a method for exposing print media, in particular, printing plates using light, in particular, UV-light from a light source which is modified by a projection unit, in particular, in its direction and/or its intensity. In a first process, a reproduction of a calculated partial image stored in the projection unit is formed on the print medium and in a second process, the projection unit is positioned in relation to the print medium. The invention aims to accelerate the production process for printed documents. This is achieved by optimising the assembly of partial images into a complete reproduction by running the first and second processes in parallel.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'exposer des supports d'impression, notamment des plaques d'impression, au moyen de lumière, notamment de lumière ultraviolette, qui est issue d'une source de lumière et dont la direction et/ou l'intensité, notamment, peuvent être modifiées au moyen d'une unité de projection. Un premier processus consiste à faire apparaître une représentation d'un segment d'image, calculé, mémorisé et issu de l'unité de projection, sur le support d'impression. Un second processus consiste à positionner l'unité de projection par rapport au support d'impression. L'objectif de cette invention est d'accélérer le processus de production de documents imprimés. Cet objectif est atteint en ce que l'assemblage des segments d'image, permettant de fournir une image, est optimisé par la mise en oeuvre en parallèle du premier et du second processus.
