The invention concerns a method for preparing carbon nanotubes by contacting a carbon source with a multivalent metal and/or metal oxide based catalyst deposited on an inorganic substrate of BET specific surface greater than 50m2/g. The resulting carbon nanotubes can be used as agents for improving the mechanical and electrical conductivity properties in polymer compositions.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de NTC par mise en contact d'une source de carbone avec un catalyseur métallique multivalent et/ou à base d'oxyde(s) métallique(s) déposé sur un substrat inorganique de surface spécifique BET supérieure à 50 m2/g. Les NTC obtenus peuvent être utilisés comme agents d'amélioration des propriétés mécaniques et de conductivité électrique dans des compositions polymériques.
