A user who logs in to a roamed communication network (VPMN), in particular in a mobile radio network, by means of a communication terminal (2) and the identification module (SIM) provided therewith, is transmitted (S2) a user identification (IMSI-P) from the number range of the roamed communication network (VPMN) automatically, or on request (S1) from a computerised service unit (1). The user identification (IMSI-P) obtained from the number range of the roamed communication network (VPMN) is stored and activated in the identification module (SIM) of the user. The user can subsequently log in as a local user on the roamed communication network.

Selon l'invention, une identification d'abonné (IMSI-P) provenant de la zone numérique du réseau de communication visité (VPMN) est transmise (S2) à un abonné se connectant à un réseau de communication (VPMN), notamment à un réseau de téléphonie mobile, au moyen d'un terminal de communication (2) et du module d'identification correspondant (SIM), ladite identification étant transmise automatiquement ou sur demande (S1) d'une unité de service informatisée (1). L'identification d'abonné (IMSI-P) obtenue provenant de la zone numérique du réseau de communication visité (VPMN) est enregistrée et activée dans le module d'identification (SIM) de l'abonné. Par conséquent, ledit abonné peut se connecter au réseau de communication visité (VPMN) en tant qu'abonné local.
