The invention relates to a method for the continuous production of unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydrides of general formula (I): R-C(O)-O-C(O)-R (I), wherein R is an unsaturated organic group with 2 to 12 C atoms, by reaction of a ketene with an unsaturated carboxylic acid of general formula (II): R-COOH (II), wherein R is defined as above, in an apparatus which has a reaction zone (1) for the reaction of a ketene with an unsaturated carboxylic acid of general formula (II), and a reaction zone (2) for the subsequent reaction of the crude anhydride mixture and a rectification column with an upper, a middle and a lower zone, in the sump of which an inert boiling oil is present.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production en continu d'anhydrides d'acides carboxyliques insaturés de formule générale (I) : R-C(O)-O-C(O)-R, dans laquelle R représente un radical organique insaturé comportant 2 à 12 atomes de carbone, par mise en réaction d'un cétène avec un acide carboxylique insaturé de formule générale (II) : R-COOH, dans laquelle R possède la signification indiquée ci-dessus, dans un appareillage présentant une zone de réaction (1), dans laquelle un cétène réagit avec un acide carboxylique insaturé de formule générale (II), une zone de réaction (2), dans laquelle le mélange formé, contenant l'anhydride brut, continue de réagir, ainsi qu'une colonne de rectification pourvue d'une zone supérieure, d'une zone centrale et d'une zone inférieure, une huile inerte à point d'ébullition étant présente dans le bas de ladite colonne.
