Abstract of the Disclosure IMPROVED METHOD FOR THE ESTERIFICATION OF THIOPROPIONATES There is disclosed a method for making compounds such as 3,6,9-trioxaundecane-1,11-bis(3-n-dodecyl- thiopropionate) which comprises reacting an alkyl thiopropionate with a glycol at temperatures between 50°C and 180°C in the presence of a catalytic amount of a dialkyl tin oxide.
