A method of the gasification of coal using oxygen and steam is provided wherein the coal is gasified at a temperature of from 1000 to 2500 °C and a pressure of from 1 to 100 kg/cm2 using oxygen generated by electrolyzing water and steam having a temperature of from 300 to 600 °C attained by heat exchange heat with a high temperature gas generated by the coal gasification. In the method, a remarkably higher efficiency and low carbon dioxide emission is attained.

L'invention se rapporte à une méthode de gazéification du charbon au moyen d'oxygème et de vapeur. Le charbon est gazéifié à une température de 1 000 à 2 500 degrés celcius et à une pression de 1 à 100 kg/cm2 en utilisant l'oxygène généré par l'électrolysation de l'eau et la vapeur à une température de 300 à 600 degrés celcius par un échange thermique avec un gaz à haute température généré par la gazéification du charbon. Selon la méthode, on obtient une efficacité remarquablement plus élevée et des émissions de dioxyde de carbone réduites
