Method for the reduction of acid mineral impurities in sulphonic acid. The method consists in subjecting sulphonic acid to a heat treatment at a temperature of 70-100 ~C under agitation and with nitrogen bubbling so as to obtain an SO¿4?H¿2? residual content of 0.3 % by weight. Such a method avoids the formation of sediments which are difficult to filter, during neutralization of the sulphonic acid.
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de réduction des impuretés minérales acides d'un acide sulfonique. Ce procédé consiste en un traitement thermique à une température comprise entre 70 et 100 ~C sous agitation avec barbotage d'azote, jusqu'à l'obtention d'une teneur résiduelle en SO4H2 de l'ordre de 0,3 % en poids. Un tel procédé évite la formation de sédiments difficiles à filtrer, lors de la neutralisation de l'acide sulfonique.
