A method for the production of 3-pentenenitrile by hydrocyanation of 1,3- butadiene in the presence of at least one catalyst, whereby 1,3-butadiene which has not been hydrocyanated is removed from the product from hydrocyanation and recycled into the process and the recycled 1,3-butadiene is monitored for hydrogen cyanide content.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire du 3-pentènenitrile par hydrocyanuration de 1,3-butadiène, en présence d'au moins un catalyseur.
