Abstract of the Disclosure Molten sulfur is converted into solidified pieces of sulfur, i.e., the product being produced. Some of the sulfur evaporates during the process, and that evaporated sulfur is conducted through a cleaner which comprises a bed of sulfur pieces, whereupon a vaporous sulfur component of the evaporated sulfur crystallizes on the sulfur pieces. The sulfur pieces are supplied to the bed from a collection site for the produced pieces. The sulfur pieces are periodically or continuously removed form the bed and combined with the product being produced.

Lors de la production de granulés de matières fondues, une partie du produit est présente sous forme de vapeurs qu'il faut éliminer de l'air d'évacuation. A cet effet, il est prévu d'utiliser les produits en morceaux résultant de la production, notamment des pastilles, directement pour former un lit fixe de matières en vrac (8), introduit dans le flux d'air d'évacuation et servant à cristalliser le soufre contenu dans la proportion de produit présente sous forme de vapeurs. L'invention s'applique à la production de pastilles de soufre.
