Le procédé de l'invention est caractérisé par le fait que, avant thermoformage, on forme à la surface de l'ébauche une couche régulière d'oxyde artificiel, alumine ou magnésie. Les problèmes de démoulage sont résolus grâce à cette couche régulière d'alumine ou magnésie. Ce procédé trouve ses principales appli- cations dans les fabrications d'emballages à parois minces ainsi que celles de pièces pour l'automobile.
