The invention relates to a method for manufacturing moulded members to produce plastic windows, comprising the following steps: extrusion and calibration of a plastic material to form a section (8); cutting the section (8) into pieces of a desired length and carrying out mitred cuts for arranging the end surfaces of the moulded member (30a, 30b) at a particular angle to the section axis. The method according to the invention is characterised in that there is cutting by a double saw which is moved at the speed of the section (8) emerging from the extrusion system, in the longitudinal direction of said profile (8). The double saw cuts the downstream end surface of a moulded member in one operation with the preceding end surface of the next moulded member (30b) taking into consideration the mitre angle in each case.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de pièces moulées pour la production de fenêtres en matière plastique. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: extrusion et calibrage d'une matière plastique pour former un profilé (8); débitage du profilé (8) en éléments de longueur souhaitée et exécution de coupes de biais pour disposer les faces de la pièce moulée (30a, 30b) dans un angle déterminé par rapport à l'axe du profilé. Ledit procédé est caractérisé en ce que le débitage est effectué par une scie double qui est déplacée à la vitesse du profilé (8) sortant de l'extrudeuse, dans le sens longitudinal du profilé (8), et qui coupe la face en aval d'une pièce moulée en une seule opération avec la face en amont de la pièce suivante (30b), en tenant compte, à chaque fois, de la fausse équerre.
