The invention relates to a method for operating a data connection between a base station (AP1) and one or several mobile stations (MS2). According to said method, data packets (DATA) are transmitted between the base station (AP1) and the mobile stations (MS2) within transmission phases (U), each transmission phase (U) being followed by a transmission break (F). The beginning of each transmission phase (U) is indicated by emitting a beacon signal (B). The transmission interface (W) between the base station (AP1) and the mobile stations (MS2), which is designed especially as an air interface, is managed by the base station (AP1) during the respective transmission phase (U). The data packets (DATA) are formed by data of a data stream (D), particularly a speech and/or video data stream while a receive data stream is formed with the received data packets. The aim of the invention is to create a method in which the delay during the transmission of a data stream is as short as possible. Said aim is achieved by triggering the beginning and the end of each data packet formation with the aid of the beacon signals (B).

L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un circuit de données entre une station de base (AP1) et une ou plusieurs stations mobiles (MS2). Selon ce procédé, des paquets de données (DATA) sont transmis entre la station de base (AP1) et les stations mobiles (MS2) au cours de phases de transmission (U), chaque phase de transmission (U) étant suivie d'une pause de transmission (F) et, par émission d'un signal de balise (B), le début de chaque phase de transmission (U) est signalé et l'interface de transmission (W), en particulier une interface hertzienne, entre la station de base (AP1) et les stations mobiles (MS2) est gérée par la station de base (AP1) pour la phase de transmission (U) respective. Les paquets de données (DATA) sont constitués de données d'un flux de données (D), en particulier d'un flux de données audio et/ou vidéo, et un flux de données de réception est formé avec les paquets de données reçus. L'objectif de l'invention est d'améliorer ce procédé pour réduire au minimum le retard survenant lors de la transmission d'un flux de données.
