The invention relates to a method for the post-treatment of a photovoltaic cell. Said cell comprises a photoactive layer consisting of two molecular components, namely an electron donor and an electron acceptor, in particular a conjugated polymer component and a fullerene component and two metal electrodes provided on either side of the photoactive layer. According to said method, the photovoltaic cell is subjected to thermal treatment which exceeds the glass transition temperature of the electron donor for a predetermined treatment period. To increase efficiency, the thermal treatment of the photovoltaic cell is carried out, at least during part of the treatment period, under the influence of an electric field, which is induced by a field voltage applied to the electrodes of the photovoltaic cell, said voltage exceeding the no-load voltage of the cell.

L'invention concerne un procédé de post-traitement d'une cellule photovoltaïque. Cette cellule photovoltaïque comprend une couche photoactive constituée de deux composants moléculaires, à savoir un donneur d'électrons et un accepteur d'électrons, en particulier un composant polymère conjugué et un composant fullerène, et deux électrodes métalliques ménagées de part et d'autre de la couche photoactive. Cette cellule photovoltaïque est soumise à un traitement thermique à une température supérieure à la température de transition vitreuse du donneur d'électrons, pendant une période de traitement prédéterminée. Pour accroître le rendement, le traitement thermique de la cellule photovoltaïque est effectué, au moins pendant une partie de cete période de traitement, sous l'effet d'un champ électrique induit par une tension d'excitation de champ qui est appliquée aux électrodes de la cellule photovoltaïque et dépasse la tension en circuit ouvert de cette cellule.
