ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method of pre- paring a catalyst for the ammoximation of carboxylic com- pounds, consisting of a synthetic, crystalline and porous material based on silicon and titanium oxides characteri- zed in that a preformed matrix of amorphous silica is im- pregnated with an aqueous solution, containing a titanium compound and an organic compound of nitrogen, as a templa- ting agent, and that to the thus impregnated material a zeolitic structure is given by means of a hydrothermal syn- thesis of usual typo, shape and size of the matrix being substantially maintained unchanged.
