ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method for purification of a bifidobacteria-proliferating substance which comprises treating the extract of soybean or its treated matters or soybean whey or treated solutions thereof with an ultrafiltration membrane, treating with activated carbon and then subjecting to an electrodialysis treatment. The present invention also relates to the thus obtained bifidobacteria-proliferating substance.
