The present disclosure relates to a method for the stereoselective production of cis-4-tertbutylcyclohexanol comprising contacting 4-tert-butylcyclohexanone with hydrogen gas, a catalyst comprising a ruthenium-aminophosphine complex and a base, wherein the complex is of the formula RuX2 (PNH2)a(P2)b (I), wherein X is anionic ligand, (PNH2) represents an aminophosphine ligand of the formula (II) R1R2P-L- NH2 and (P2) represents a diphosphine ligand of the formula (III) R3R4P-L-PR5R6.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour la production stéréosélective de cis-4-tert-butylcyclohexanol comprenant la mise en contact de la 4-tert-butylcyclohexanone avec de l'hydrogène gazeux, un catalyseur comprenant un complexe de ruthénium-aminophosphine et une base, le complexe étant de la formule RuX2 (PNH2)a(P2)b (I), où X est un ligand anionique, (PNH2) représente un ligand aminophosphine de la formule (II) R1R2P-L-NH2 et (P2) représente un ligand diphosphine de la formule (III) R3R4P-L-PR5R6.
