METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF PITCH-IN-WATER SLURRY Abstract of the Disclosure Molten pitch, such as obtained in petroleum refining, is comminuted as such in the presence of water to obtain coarse pitch particles solidified during the comminution by contact with the water. The coarse pitch particles are further pulverized in the presence of water and, preferably, a dispersant to form a slurry containing the finely pulverized pitch particles dispersed in the water. -1-
