The invention relates to a method for the preparation of sodium percarbonate granules having enhanced stability, comprising modifying the surface of the sodium percarbonate granules by means of a surface reaction between sodium percarbonate and carbon dioxide or bicarbonate species to form a dense solid film of essentially sodium bicarbonate on the surface of the sodium percarbonate granules, said method comprising the steps of: a) dissolving carbon dioxide in water to form an aqueous solution containing dissolved carbon dioxide and bicarbonate, b) exposing the surface of the sodium percarbonate granules to a spray of said aqueous solution containing dissolved carbon dioxide and bicarbonate, to form said solid film of essentially sodium bicarbonate, and subsequently c) removing the residual fluid from the surface.
La présente invention a pour objet une méthode de préparation de granules de percarbonate de sodium à la stabilité accrue et comprenant la modification de la surface des granules de percarbonate de sodium au moyen d'une réaction en surface entre le percarbonate de sodium et du dioxyde de carbone ou un bicarbonate pour former un film solide et dense, composé essentiellement de bicarbonate de sodium à la surface des granules de percarbonate de sodium. Ladite méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : a) dissolution du dioxyde de carbone dans de l'eau pour former une solution aqueuse contenant du dioxyde de carbone et du bicarbonate dissous, b) exposition de la surface des granules de percarbonate de sodium à une pulvérisation de ladite solution aqueuse contenant du dioxyde de carbone et du bicarbonate dissous, pour former ledit film solide constitué essentiellement de bicarbonate de sodium, c) élimination du liquide résiduel de la surface.
