ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method for the production of polyfunctional products from cyclo-olefins, characterized in that a cyclo-olefin having more than one unsaturation is treated by means of a sequence of steps and operations, comprising at least a selective ozonization from which the mono-ozonide of the said cyclo-olefin is obtained, and other steps, including at least a transposition leading to at least the obtaining of an omega-formyl-alkenoic acid, in which sequence not more than one olefinic unsaturation is removed.
