A method for the systemic control of blood-sucking parasites in warm-blooded animals or for the prevention of reinfestation, which comprises administering systemically to the warm-blooded animal a compound of formula (I), wherein R, R2, R3, R6, X and n are as defined in claim 1, in an amount that affects the growth of one of the early states of development of the parasite in such a manner that the parasite does not reach the adult stage or that the adult parasite is rendered sterile.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à la lutte systémique contre des parasites suceurs de sang chez des animaux à sang chaud, ou à la prévention d'une réinfestation, qui comprend l'administration systématique, à un animal à sang chaud, d'un composé de la formule (I), dans laquelle R, R2, R3, R6, X et n sont tels que définis dans la revendication 1, en une quantité influant sur la croissance du parasite à l'un de ses premiers stades de développement, de sorte que le parasite n'atteint pas le stade adulte, ou que le parasite adulte est rendu stérile.
