Abstract of the Disclosure A method for the production of a fibrous article containing mineral fibers and cellulose material comprising the steps of preparing a dispersion of mineral fibers in water along with cellulose fiber material which includes at least 50% natural and/or synthetic zero fibers, de-watering the dispersion, shaping and drying, the fibrous article thus produced has properties comparable with a similar article containing asbestos fibers without the health risks associated with asbestos fibers.
