Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a method for the production of GnRH deca- peptides. The objective is accomplished by coupling conventionally produced partial fragments Pyr-His-Trp-OR and H-Ser-Tyr-Xaa-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH2 wherein R is an aliphatic or aromatic group and Xaa is a D-amino acid, pursuant to the invention by means of chymotrypsin. The method ensures that GnRH decapeptides are synthesized in high yield and purity without racemization. Theareas of application of the invention lie in the manufacture of medicinal drugs,which are used for the treatment of fertility disorders and prostate carcinoma and for ovulation synchronization.
