A process for preparing particles of a substance comprising contacting a first formulation including a first substance with a first solvent stream and a second solvent stream, thereby causing formation of particles of the first substance, wherein both the first and second solvent streams are in a non- supercritical state, and subjecting the resultant mixture to a separation process which causes separation of the first substance from the first and second solvent streams.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé servant à préparer des particules d'une substance et consistant à cet effet à mettre une première formulation contenant une première substance en contact avec un premier flux de solvant et avec un second flux de solvant, entraînant ainsi la formation de particules de cette première substance, le premier et le second flux de solvant étant à l'état non supercritique, puis à soumettre le mélange qui en résulte à un processus de séparation qui sépare la première substance du premier et du second flux de solvant.
