A method for the rapid screening of analytes, such as potential drug candidates, comprises the steps of applying a plurality of analytes to be screened onto one or more solid support(s) (61) such that the analytes remain isolated from one another; contacting said analyte-carrying solid support(s) (61) with targets provided in a semi-solid or liquid medium, whereby said analytes are released from the solid support(s) (61) to the targets; and measuring analyte-target interactions. This method allows for the manipulation of thousands of different analytes simultaneously. When the analyte is applied to the solid support (61) it can diffuse thereon so as to produce a concentration gradient and serial dilution of analyte if a dose response curve for a candidate drug is required. The method described can be readily automated.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé pour le criblage rapide d'analytes, par exemple comme médicaments candidats potentiels, ce procédé consistant à appliquer plusieurs analytes à cribler sur un ou plusieurs supports solides (61), pour que les analytes restent isolés les uns des autres; à placer ce support solide porte-analytes (61) en contact avec des cibles situées dans un milieu semi-solide ou liquide, les analytes étant alors libérés des supports solides (61) sur les cibles; et à mesurer les interactions analytes-cibles. Ce procédé permet de manipuler des milliers d'analytes différents simultanément. Lorsque l'analyte est appliqué sur le support solide (61), il peut se diffuser, de façon à produire un gradient de concentration et une dilution sérielle de l'analyte, lorsqu'une courbe réagissant à la dose pour un médicament candidat est requise. Ce procédé peut être facilement automatisé.
