Disclosed is a method or device for recognizing a structure, preferably a bead or trace of adhesive material (20), which is to be applied to a substrate (30), with the aid of at least two cameras, more particularly three or more cameras (12, 13, 14). The structure, which is to be applied, is applied to the substrate using an applicator device (11), whereupon the structure, which is applied to the substrate by means of the applicator device, is monitored by the cameras in such a way that the cameras are oriented towards the applied structure with at least one overlapping area, wherein the applied structure, particularly the edges of the trace of adhesive, is determined on a revolving orbit around the applicator device and the revolving orbit is pre-defined in such a way that the applied structure intersects the revolving orbit after it has been applied to the substrate.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour reconnaître une structure à appliquer sur un substrat (30), de préférence un cordon ou une trace de matériau adhésif (20), au moyen d'au moins deux caméras, en particulier de trois caméras (12, 13, 14) ou plus. Selon l'invention, la structure à appliquer est appliquée sur le substrat par un dispositif d'application (11), puis la structure appliquée sur le substrat au moyen du dispositif d'application, est surveillée par les caméras de sorte que les caméras sont dirigées sur la structure appliquée pour avoir au moins une zone de recouvrement, la structure appliquée, en particulier les arêtes de la trace de matériau adhésif, étant déterminée(s) sur une trajectoire périphérique autour du dispositif d'application, et la trajectoire périphérique étant prédéfinie de sorte que la structure appliquée coupe la trajectoire périphérique après application sur le substrat.
