The present invention provides a reprocessing method for preventing ignition and explosion by dust generated during a reprocessing such as shearing and/or crushing of salvaged metallic materials comprising easily oxidative metals. The technical configuration of the present invention resides in a reprocessing method for salvaged metallic materials characterized in that a process for shearing and/or crushing salvaged metallic materials by a cutting machine and/or a crushing machine is carried out under either or both of the following conditions: (a) spraying by at least a two fluid type sprayer provided at a high position inside a room accommodating the cutting and grinding machines water mist of an average particle size of 10 µm or less in an amount of 4- 10 cc/h/m3 relative to the volume of the room; and (b) providing a two fluid type sprayer on each of the cutting and grinding machines in such a manner as to be oriented to a dust generating portion and then spraying water mist of an average particle size ranging 10-200 µm in an amount of 1-100 wt.% of the generated dust volume.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de retraitement visant à empêcher la mise à feu et l'explosion de la poussière produite lors d'une étape de retraitement, telle que le découpage et/ou le broyage de matériaux métalliques récupérés, lesquels comprennent des métaux s'oxydant facilement. Le principe technique de la présente invention concerne un procédé de retraitement de matériaux métalliques récupérés, caractérisé en ce que l'on effectue le découpage et/ou le broyage desdits matériaux à l'aide d'une machine de découpage et/ou d'un broyeur, sous l'une ou l'autre des condition suivantes, ou sous les deux: (a) à l'aide d'au moins un pulvérisateur du type fonctionnant avec deux fluides et que l'on a installé à une hauteur élevée à l'intérieur du local des machines à découper et à broyer, on pulvérise un brouillard d'eau, dont la dimension de particule moyenne est au maximum de 10 µm, dans une quantité de 4-10 cm?3¿/h/m?3¿ par rapport au volume de la pièce; et (b) on installe sur chaque machine à découper et à broyer un pulvérisateur du type fonctionnant avec deux fluides, en orientant ceux-ci sur la zone de production de poussières, puis on vaporise le brouillard d'eau, dont la dimension de particule moyenne se situe entre 10 et 200 µm, dans une quantité de 1 à 100 % en poids du volume de poussière produit.
