The invention relates to a method for the regeneration of deNOx catalysts with a reduced activity caused by the accumulation of phosphor and phosphorous compounds. The method is characterised in that the catalysts are treated with an essentially aqueous solution of water-soluble alkaline reacting alkaline earth salts, ammonium hydroxide, or alkaline reacting ammonium salts, or water- soluble organic amines with an approximate pK value ranging between 2.5 and 5.5 and that the excess alkali is neutralised by subsequent treatment with inorganic or organic acids.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de régénérer des catalyseurs d'élimination des NOx présentant une activité réduite en raison de l'accumulation de phosphore et de composés phosphoreux. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste à traiter les catalyseurs avec une solution sensiblement aqueuse de sels de métaux alcalins à réaction alcaline solubles dans l'eau, d'hydroxyde d'ammonium ou de sels d'ammonium à réaction alcaline ou d'amines organiques solubles dans l'eau présentant un pK compris entre 2,5 et 5,5, puis à neutraliser l'excédent d'alcali par un traitement ultérieur avec des acides inorganiques ou organiques.
