The invention relates to a method for the software emulation of the hard disks of a computer platform at the operating system thereof, with on-the-fly parameter-adaptive management of read and write requests. The inventive method comprises the following steps, namely: a first step consisting in creating a representation of a real hard disk, in which orders relating to the loading and execution of some of the components of the operating system of the computer platform can be adapted; a second step consisting in loading one or more peripheral drivers onto the computer platform, said drivers including at least one peripheral driver which enables real dialogue with a data storage medium containing the data from the emulated hard disk; and a third step consisting in simulating the behaviour of a real hard disk for the operating system.
Procédé pour l'émulation logicielle de disques durs d'une plate-forme informatique au niveau du système d'exploitation, avec gestion paramétrable à la volée des requêtes d'écriture et de lecture, consistant à : - créer dans une première étape une représentation d'un disque dur réel dans laquelle peuvent être adaptés les ordres de chargement et d'exécution de certains des composants du système d'exploitation de la plate-forme informatique, puis de : - charger sur ladite plate-forme informatique au cours d'une deuxième étape un ou plusieurs pilotes de périphérique parmi lesquels au moins un des pilotes de périphérique permet le dialogue réel avec un support de stockage de données contenant les données du disque dur émulé, puis à : - simuler dans une troisième étape le comportement d'un véritable disque dur pour le système d'exploitation.
