The invention relates to a method for incorporating sulphur into the porosity of solid particles of a hydrocarbon-conversion catalyst or of an adsorbent. The method is carried out offsite in the presence of either pure hydrogen sulphide or hydrogen sulphide diluted in hydrogen or nitrogen and consists of raising or lowering the particles in a sulphur-incorporation area that includes at least one vibrating helical coil having a substantially tubular shape and at least two pitches, whereby the particles are subjected to a temperature profile over most of the course thereof in the coil and are contacted with at least one fluid over at least part of said course.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'incorporation de soufre dans la porosité des particules solides d'un catalyseur de conversion d'hydrocarbures ou d'un adsorbant. Ce procédé est effectué hors-site en présence de sulfure d'hydrogène pur ou dilué dans de l'hydrogène ou de l'azote, procédé dans lequel on fait monter ou descendre lesdites particules dans une zone d'incorporation de soufre qui comprend au moins une spire hélicoïdale vibrante, de forme sensiblement tubulaire et comportant au moins deux pas, lesdites particules étant soumises à un profil de température sur la majeure partie de leur trajet dans ladite spire et lesdites particules étant mises en contact avec au moins un fluide sur au moins une partie de leur trajet.
