The invention relates to a method for the thermal treatment of powder applied to substrates paints in any colour, for the production of a coating on the substrates using IR-radiation, whereby the powder paint, applied to the substrate, is irradiated with medium- and/or long-wave IR radiation and the powder paint contains additives with the property of absorbing medium- or long- wave IR radiation. The powder paint having undergone a thermal treatment with medium- and/or long-wave IR radiation is optionally subjected to a further treatment with electron or UV radiation.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement thermique de peintures en poudre de couleur quelconque, appliquées sur des substrats, pour la production d'un revêtement sur ces substrats au moyen d'un rayonnement infrarouge. Selon ledit procédé, la peinture en poudre, appliquée sur le substrat, est soumise à un rayonnement infrarouge de grande longueur d'onde et/ou de longueur d'onde moyenne et cette peinture en poudre contient des additifs capables d'absorber un rayonnement infrarouge de grande longueur d'onde et/ou de longueur d'onde moyenne. La peinture en poudre, ayant subit un traitement thermique par rayonnement infrarouge de grande longueur d'onde et/ou de longueur d'onde moyenne, est éventuellement soumise à un autre traitement par rayonnement ultraviolet ou électronique.
