The invention relates to a method for the thermal treatment of powdery materials (1), in particular powders, characterised in that said products are heated to a temperature of at least 700° C in a current flow tube (5) that is inclined relative to a horizontal plane (P) and preferably essentially vertical relative to said plane, said products essentially flowing by gravity into said tube. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement thermique de produits pulvérulents (1), en particuliers de poudres, caractérisé en ce que l'on chauffe lesdits produits jusqu'à une température d'au moins 700°C dans un tube à passage de courant (5) disposé de façon inclinée par rapport à un plan horizontal (P), et de préférence sensiblement verticalement par rapport à ce plan, lesdits produits s'écoulant dans ledit tube essentiellement par gravité. Un dispositif pour la mise en uvre de ce procédé est également décrit.
