ABSTRACT The present invention provides a method for eradicating and/or preventing recurrence of gastrointestinal disorders associated with Helicobacter pylori infections, which involves the administration sequentially or simultaneously of a pharmaceutical composition, comprising a therapeutically effective amount of at least one pharmaceutically acceptable bismuth compound, a therapeutically effective amount of at least one first antibiotic or antibacterial agent and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one second antibiotic or antibacterial agent. There is also provided a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with H. pylori, and pharmaceutical compositions for said treatment in the form of a sequential pack.
