The invention concerns a method for treating electric steel plant slag comprising the following steps: (a) transferring the slag into a metallurgical container; (b) defoaming the slag in said metallurgical container by adding a defoaming agent, preferably silica; (c) heating the slag to make it fluid; and (d) sudden cooling of the slag, for instance by aqueous granulation.
On présente un procédé de traitement de laitier d'aciérie électrique qui comprend les étapes suivantes : (a) transfert du laitier dans un récipient métallurgique ; (b) démoussage du laitier dans ce récipient métallurgique par ajout d'un agent démoussant, de préférence de la silice; (c) ensuite chauffage du laitier pour le rendre fluide; et (d) refroidissement forcé du laitier, par exemple une granulation aqueuse.
