The invention relates to a method for processing residue containing zinc ferrites and nonferrous metals selected from the group comprising lead (Pb), silver (Ag), indium (In), germanium (Ge) and gallium (Ga) or mixtures thereof in the form of oxides or sulphates, that comprises the following steps: grilling the residue at high temperature in an oxidant medium in order to obtain a desulphurised residue; carbiding reduction-fusion of the desulphurised residue in a reducing medium; liquid phase extraction of carbide cast iron and slag; vapour-phase extraction of the nonferrous metals followed by the oxidation thereof and their recovery in a solid form.

La présente invention décrit un procédé de traitement de résidus comprenant des ferrites de zinc et des métaux non ferreux choisis parmi le groupe constitué par le plomb (Pb), l'argent (Ag), l'indium (In), le germanium (Ge) et le Gallium (Ga) ou leurs mélanges sous forme d'oxydes et de sulfates comprenant les étapes suivantes : ~ un grillage en milieu oxydant à haute température des résidus afin d'obtenir un résidu désulfuré, ~ une réduction-fusion carburante du résidu désulfuré en milieu réduc- teur, ~ une extraction en phase liquide de fonte carburée et de laitier, ~ une extraction des métaux non-ferreux en phase vapeur, suivie de leur oxydation et de leur récupération sous forme solide.
