A method for stabilization of highly concentrated formaldehyde solutions containing >70 wt. % CH2O with respect to solid precipitation, wherein the highly concentrated formaldehyde solution is heated directly after production at a heating rate of at least 5~ C/min to a temperature of at least 80 ~C to 200 ~C maximum and is stored at a temperature within said range.

Procédé de stabilisation thermique de solutions de formaldéhyde hautement concentrées ayant une teneur en CH¿2?O supérieure à 70.% en poids pour éviter la précipitation de manière solides, qui consiste à chauffer la solution de formaldéhyde hautement concentrée directement après la production à une vitesse de chauffe d'au moins 5·C/min à une température d'au moins 80 ·C jusqu'à au moins 200 ·C au maximum et à stocker ladite solution à une température de cet ordre.
