A method for transceiving data in a coordinator-based wireless network and a wireless network device employing the same are provided. The method for transmitting data in a coordinator-based wireless network, includes providing data to be transmitted to another wireless network device in the coordinator- based wireless network, providing a Media Access Control (MAC) frame containing the data and type information indicating the type of the data and conforming to a protocol for the coordinator-based wireless network, and transmitting the MAC frame to the other wireless network via a wireless medium. The method enables inter-operation between an MAC layer and a layer above the MAC layer by specifying type information in an MAC frame.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'émission et de réception de données dans un réseau sans fil à base de coordinateur et un dispositif de réseau sans fil utilisant ce procédé. Le procédé d'émission de données dans un réseau sans fil à base de coordinateur consiste à prendre des données à transmettre à un autre dispositif de réseau sans fil dans ce réseau sans fil à base de coordinateur, à prendre une trame de contrôle d'accès au support (MAC) contenant les données et les informations de type indiquant le type des données et se conformant à un protocole de ce réseau sans fil à base de coordinateur et, à émettre la trame MAC sur l'autre réseau sans fil via un support sans fil. Ce procédé permet des opérations d'échange entre une couche MAC et une couche au-dessus de la couche MAC par spécification d'informations de type dans une trame MAC.
