If a bus reset occurs in transmitting printing data (ST21), an STB requests a printer to transmit the information outputted before the bus reset (C18). The printer outputs the information inputted before the bus reset to the STB in response to the request (R18). The STB outputs the printing data to the printer again (C19). The STB recognizes the information outputted by itself before the bus reset and resumes the data transmission (S14). Therefore even if a bus reset occurs, data transmission is completed in a short time, thereby reducing the whole printing time.

En réponse à la demande (R18), l'imprimante transmet au STB l'information produite avant la remise à zéro du bus. Le STB transmet une nouvelle fois (C19) les données d'impression à l'imprimante. Il reconnaît l'information qu'il a lui même produite avant la remise à zéro du bus et reprend la transmission de données (S14). Ainsi, même en cas de remise à zéro du bus, la transmission des données s'effectue rapidement, ce qui réduit la durée totale de l'impression.
