ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to a process for conver- sion of sulfuric acid in solution and/or hydrogen sulfates in solution to usable products by means of advanced or complete ion exchange of their hydrogen ions by other cations, in which the ion exchange is performed by means of a stationary process and the resultant sulfates and/or hydrogen sulfates are main- tained in solution to more than 75% of their quantity, whose concentration expressed in gramequ/litre is approximately equal to, or exceeding, the concentration of the starting solution. Said process provides compensation for the costs of transforma- tion and eliminates or at least alleviates the expenses in con- nection with disposal, by utilizing the newly derived products.
