The invention concerns a method for transmitting a multicarrier spectrum-spread signal, using a plurality of spreading codes. The invention is characterized in that the method includes a step of allocating a power and/or a rate to each of the spreading codes, based on an information representing the noise and/or on an information representing the quality of the link, said allocating step taking into account a target rate.
