The invention discloses a method for transmitting high-speed downlink package data in a mobile communication system with a smart antenna, which not only can take full advantage of radio beamforming of smart antenna but also can transmit downlink package data high efficiency. In this method, at the beginning of downlink package data transmission, no matter whether a subscriber terminal is at any state, a call for all ready subscriber terminal is made through a paging channel to obtain an initial DOA (direction of arrival) of every subscriber terminal, and then with this initial DOA the smart antenna transmits downlink package data to a subscriber terminal with an initial beamforming; having received one package, the subscriber terminal returns an acknowledgement message, if the downlink package is correctly received, or retransmission is required, if the received downlink package has error codes, so the system knows current position of the subscriber terminal and can use an updated beamforming to trace the subscriber terminal moving; based on received package quality, the system adaptively adjusts the length of a downlink package, and based on the moving speed of the subscriber terminal, the system adaptively adjusts the length of the downlink package too.
La présente invention concerne un procédé qui non seulement permet de tirer pleinement profit de la forme de faisceau radio d'une antenne intelligente mais qui peut également émettre en aval avec une haute efficacité des paquets de données dans un système de communication avec cette antenne intelligente. Lorsque les paquets de données aval sont émis vers chaque terminal utilisateur, quelque soit l'état dans lequel se trouve ce terminal, il est appelé par un canal de recherche de façon à donner à ce système intelligent sa localisation initiale et garantir ainsi que ce dernier peut utiliser le faisceau initial mis en forme pour émettre des données vers ce terminal. Après l'émission d'un paquet, le terminal utilisateur retourne un message d'accusé de réception si la réception est correcte ou un message de demande de réémission s'il existe une erreur de code quelconque de façon à garantir que le système peut connaître la localisation de l'utilisateur à tout moment et poursuivre cet utilisateur mobile par un faisceau mis en forme à jour. En fonction de la qualité des paquets de données reçus par le terminal utilisateur, la longueur des paquets de données aval est réglée par auto-adaptation de façon à accroître la vitesse à laquelle de faisceau de l'antenne intelligente poursuit l'utilisateur et à améliorer l'efficacité de l'émission. Les longueurs des paquets de données aval sont réglées efficacement par la détermination de la vitesse de déplacement de l'utilisateur.
