Therapeutic pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treatment of abnormal cell growth comprising a pyrimidine derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or prodrug thereof in combination with an oral camptothecin, an oral camptothecin derivative, an indolopyrrocarbazole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or prodrug thereof for the treatment of cancer are described. In one embodiment of the present invention the oral camptothecin derivative is selected from the group consisting of 10-~hydroxycamptothecin, 9-aminocamptothecin, 9- nitrocamptothecin, irinotecan, irinotecan salt, SN-38, CPT-11, and topotecan and the indolopyrrocarbazole derivative is edotecarin. In one embodiment the pyrimidine derivative is selected from the group consisting gemcitabine, MTA and capecitabine. In one preferred embodiment, the pyrimidine derivative is capecitabine and the camptothecin derivative is CPT-11.
La présente invention concerne décomposition pharmaceutique thérapeutique et des techniques de traitement de croissance cellulaire normale comprenant un dérivé de pyrimidine ou un sel, un solvate ou un promédicament de ce composé répondant aux normes pharmaceutiques, en combinaison avec une camptothécine orale ou un dérivé de camptothécine orale, un dérivé indolopyrrocarbazole ou un sel, un solvate ou un promédicament de ce composé répondant aux normes pharmaceutiques, destinées à traiter un cancer. Dans un mode de réalisation de cette invention, le dérivé de camptothécine orale est sélectionné d'un locaux constitués de10-hydroxycamptothécine, 9-aminocamptothécine, 9-nitrocamptothécine, irinotécan, sel d'irinotécan, SN-38, CPT-11, et topotécan et le dérivé indolopyrrocarbazole est édotécarine. Dans un mode de réalisation le dérivé pyrimidine est sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de gemcitabine, MTA et capécitabine. Dans un mode préférer de réalisation, le dérivé de pyrimidine est capécitabine et le dérivé de camptothécine est CPT-11.
