The invention relates to a method for treating an optical lens coated on at least one of its main surfaces by an external hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating, in order to render it suitable for edging. Said method comprises a step for the deposition, on at least one part of the external hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating, of a temporary adhesive composite film, said adhesive composite film comprising a pre-shaped film, the main surface of which is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the adhesive layer being in direct contact with the hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating, the elasticity during traction E' module of the pre-shaped film being higher than, or equal to, 4200 MPa, and the tensile strength of the assembly consisting of said adhesive film stuck to a sample of polycarbonate coated with a layer of fluorinated silane, measured during traction in conformance with the norm of determination of shear strength NF EN 1465, being higher than, or equal to, 0.05 MPa. The invention also relates to an edging method and to a lens suitable for edging.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une lentille optique revêtue sur au moins une de ses surfaces principales d'un revêtement externe hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe, destiné à la rendre apte au débordage, comprenant une étape de dépôt sur au moins une partie du revêtement externe hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe d'un film composite adhésif temporaire, ledit film composite adhésif comprenant un film préformé dont une surface principale est revêtue d'une couche d'adhésif sensible à la pression, ladite couche d'adhésif étant en contact direct avec le revêtement hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe, le module d'élasticité en traction E' du film préformé étant supérieur ou égal à 4200 MPa, et la contrainte à la rupture de l'assemblage constitué dudit film adhésif collé à une éprouvette de polycarbonate revêtue d'une couche de silane fluoré, mesurée en traction conformément à la norme de détermination de la résistance au cisaillement NF EN 1465, étant supérieure ou égale à 0,05 MPa. L'invention concerne également un procédé de débordage et une lentille apte au débordage.
