A method is disclosed for the in situ treatment of diseases and malignancies in a living host body. The method includes exposing a diseased or malignant gland of a host body to an effective amount of a therapeutic agent into blood flowing from the diseased or malignant gland that has been captured and contained in an isolated section associated with the gland. The contaminated blood from this isolated section is then evacuated from the host body, cleaned, detoxified and returned to the host body without exposing other glands, organs or tissue of the host body to the contaminated blood and without interrupting the normal flow of blood circulating through the host body. The isolated section is provided with means to prevent contaminated blood from circulating to the heart of the host body.
L'invention concerne une méthode servant à effectuer le traitement in situ de maladies et de tumeurs malignes chez un récepteur vivant. Cette méthode consiste à exposer une glande du récepteur atteinte de maladie ou de malignité à une quantité efficace d'agent thérapeutique par perfusion de cet agent thérapeutique dans le flux sanguin s'écoulant depuis la glande malade ou maligne capturé et contenu dans une section isolée associée à la glande. Ceci consiste ensuite à évacuer hors du récepteur le sang contaminé de cette section isolée, à nettoyer ce sang, à le désintoxiquer et à le renvoyer au récepteur sans exposer d'autres glandes, organes ou tissus du récepteur au sang contaminé et sans interrompre l'écoulement normal du sang circulant à travers le corps du récepteur. La section isolée est pourvue de moyens servant à empêcher l'écoulement vers le coeur du récepteur de ce sang contaminé.
