This invention relates to methods for treating a hematopoietic neoplasm comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a combretastatin compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a subject having a hematological malignancy, wherein the combretastatin compound comprises a catechol or quinone moiety and is capable of forming a reactive oxygen species (ROS) in vivo. The method may further comprise co-administering a second chemotherapeutic agent.

L'invention concerne des procédés pour traiter un néoplasme hématopoïétique comprenant l'administration d'une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un composé de combrétastatine, ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci, à un sujet ayant une malignité hématologique, le composé de combrétastatine comprenant une fraction catéchol ou quinone et pouvant former une espèce d'oxygène réactive (ROS) in vivo. Le procédé peut comprendre en outre la coadministration d'un second agent chimiothérapeutique.
